How long will the DJ play? You decide, you choose the number of hours we play on the contract and those are actual uninterrupted hours of performance with no breaks. Drive time, equipment set up time, and breakdown time is on our time not yours. We do a sound check and coordinate with other industry professionals who are important to success of your event.
Can the DJ play our favorite song? Yes, infact we will play ALL of your favorite songs. We ask that you customize your play list so individual requests will be guaranteed at your event. We bring along 1000's of other crowd favorites in addition to your special requests, in the event guests requests are permitted.
What kind of music do you have? We have 1000s of songs ranging from the big band era to the top 40s and everything in between. We have an extensive song selection guide that is updated every quarter which possesses the most requested songs for those three months. If you don't find the song you are looking for, just ask you wish is our demand.
We want to do a slide show and we don't like the chicken dance is it possible to customize this event? Yes, careful attention to EVERY customized detail ensures you are more than pleased throughout the evening. You customize our itinerary sheets two months before the event. This information is exactly what we use to orchastrate your event from beginning to end. The DJ becomes the Master of Ceremonies who coordinates with other industry professionals such as the photographer, videographer and caterer making sure even the finest detail is noted by all important to the success to the night.
Can we ask the DJ to play longer the night of the our event? Yes, play over options are always available just let your DJ know.
Do you have back up equipment? Yes, our sister company is A-1 Electronics so our sound systems are maintained and serviced regularly by our techs. In the event there is an equipment problem, your DJ is trained to trouble shoot and fix most problems on the spot with the backup equipment he/she brings along.
Are there any hidden/surprise fees in your costs? Absolutey NOT! Our price is all inclusive. We include everything it takes to do a first class performance such as tuxedo dressed DJS, cordless microphones, speakers (size and number) to accommodate from 15 people to thousands! Ohio DJ's do not charge tax and House of Entertainment will not charge travel or set up fees either. We don't even add in a gratutity for the DJ which is suggested to be 20% of the total bill, we leave it up to you to decide because we know you will be impressed with the entertainment we provide.
What if we have to cancel? No problem on our end. Unforseen circumstances happen and we want to keep your business that we've earned the priveledge of having. In the event of cancelation, we ask that you send by certified mail a letter stating the reason for cancellation 60 days prior to the event along with a copy of the contract with the original signature on it. (We want to avoid false cancellations) Your event will be cancelled and you will be given a cancellation code so that your $100 retainer fee may be used on any future dated event within five years.
